My week on Instagram

It's been such a long time since my blog and I have loads of excuses concerning time, nothing interesting to say and CBA.
But here I am, I'm back!

A few months ago I downloaded the Instagram app on my Android phone.  The Android is no more, and I've moved on to the ubiquitous iPhone, however I'm still addicted to my instagram app.
It makes my awful photos into something much more pretty and I love looking back at old pictures as they seem to sum up my mood much more than tweets or facebook status updates.

Tonight we've been watching, yet more, Olympics.  I've got really addicted over the last week and loved watching Victoria Pendleton take Gold in the Women's (not girls) Keirin only one hour ago.

Today was my non-working day (9-day fortnight) so I spent most of it cleaning and washing but did have an indulgent 30 mins flicking through our wedding album which lifted my mood nicely.

We saw our resident hedgehog on Tuesday night.  He's, or she's, been living in our hedgehog box since March and it was so lovely to finally see him/her.

We treated ourselves to a new tv last weekend and had a lovely day with friends watching the Grand Prix and, of course, London 2012 in 3D!  We also celebrated getting our retrospective planning permission granted at last.  WE DON'T HAVE TO KNOCK THE CONSERVATORY DOWN!!!

This time last week, having just had a Gellax manicure, we were partying with my husband's family as we wished his parents Bon Voyage for starting their early retirement en France.

All this in one week!  Time for a rest I think....at least until tomorrow when we're off to the Olympic Park itself to see the Men's Basketball. USA are playing so should be a good day out.  Can't wait - I have my flag ready!
