Between Hens

It's been over 3 weeks since my last weekly(!) blog - doesn't time fly?!

And now, with only 5 weeks to go, things start getting busy with quite a few things, still to do:

Finalise details with venue
Finalise details and pay balance for catering
Finalise details and pay balance for photographer
Final beauty treatments; St Tropez, waxing, manicure, pedicure, eyelash tint, facial, hair cut and coloured
Final hen night (more of that later)

All of these are under control so it sounds worse that it is. I just wish the venue would have better communication skills.  I emailed them a couple of weeks ago with some questions and details of table plan etc.  They've still not responded...hardly filling me with confidence!

Over the last few weeks I've got to know the local beautician very well with her "servicing" my face, feet, hands and bikini line.  Soon this relationship will step up a notch when I have my first ever St Tropez fake tan.  If anyone knows Sarah at Salon 24 in Liss tell her I really appreciate her help in trying to turn this low maintenance girl into a blushing Bride.  And I emphasise the Blushing - please no tango'ing.

My lovely Matron of Honour did me proud with my ideal hen weekend at Centre Parks this Easter.  We had a full and varied programme; more beauty treatments, spa, cocktails, Chinese and Indian food, swimming, Aerial Adventure, pancakes, Take That 2, free Starbucks and the list goes on.  We had fabulous t-shirts and hats and I even endured wearing a net curtain on my head for an evening! :-)
The reason why this blog is titled "Between Hens" is because my MoH is kind enough to organise another night for me next weekend. This is so all my friends who couldn't make Centre Parks can join in.   I'm really looking forward to it, although I suspect it'll be a messier affair than last weekend.
